Kelly Price No Longer Listed As Missing Person After Family Claimed She Disappeared Months Ago
Kelly Price is officially no longer listed as a missing person with the National Crime Information Center. According to reports, gospel singer/songwriter Kelly Price, 48, met with investigators in Cobb County, Georgia to confirm she isn’t missing. In addition to that, her attorney claims police conducted a required welfare and safety check, and authorities were instructed to remove Kelly Price from the National Missing Persons Registry.
As previously reported, claims that Kelly had been missing for a while surfaced earlier this week. Reportedly, Kelly went missing shortly after she was released from the hospital after battling COVID. According to officials in Cobb County, she was officially listed as a missing person following a welfare check conducted at her home last Saturday. Until recently, Kelly’s last Instagram post was from July 29 when she informed her fans she had COVID.

According to reports, Kelly was admitted to the hospital a week after the post went up and was ultimately placed in the ICU as her condition worsened. Her family claim that they were in touch with the ‘Tired’ singer during her hospitalization until mid-August when they received a shocking call from the hospital that she had been discharged. Kelly’s family reportedly hadn’t heard from her since and they believe her boyfriend was keeping her away from them.

On Sept. 26 Kelly broke her silence on the situation and revealed that she was isolating herself as she recovered from an intense battle with COVID. She shared,
“I suffered a lot of internal damage, so I have a lot of rehabbing to do before I am able to be what I’d like to call ‘concert ready’ again. Following the year I’ve had losing so many people–I’d just lost my grandmother before I was diagnosed–I feel like the only way I can focus on me is to actually focus on me. There were actually people–I don’t know, fans or whoever they were–coming to my house. People ringing the bell, leaving things at my doorstep, disturbing my neighbors all times of the day and night. And this wasn’t months ago–I literally just left my house maybe a week ago because I couldn’t rest there… I turned off everything. I wasn’t on social media.”
