Nicki Minaj Sarcastically Reacts To Not Being Invited To Lil Wayne’s Birthday Party: I Had So Much Fun

Was Nicki Minaj left off the guestlist for Lil Wayne’s birthday party?

This week (Monday, Sept. 27), rap legend Lil Wayne celebrated his 39th birthday. But it seems Nicki Minaj’s invitation did not arrive, and once pictures from the party with former Young Money artists began circulating on social media, Nicki Minaj, 38, reacted.

Responding to one photo she said,

“I had so much fun @mackmaine4president @champagnepapi @liltuenchi.” 

To which rapper Mack Maine responded,

“Lawwwdddd don’t do it like that Nicketo!!! This s*** was so last minute. We could run it back deaux it wasn’t complete without you.” 

Also in attendance was the Certified Lover Boy himself, Drake, who made a toast to Lil Wayne saying how he still gets nervous speaking about Lil Wayne because he is his idol. He added,

“There will never be anybody, anybody who walks this earth that is like you. I promise you, I don’t know everybody here but for the majority of us, we literally have no existence if it wasn’t for you. I just wanted you to know that and that’s the best way I can put it. There’s literally none of us, without you.”

Nicki Minaj not being in attendance comes just a few short weeks after the actress also did not attend the 2021 Met Gala due to their vaccine requirement. On Twitter she said,

“They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. If I get vaccinated it won’t be for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grip your head & face. Not that loose one.”

Although Minaj was not at the party, she did post a sweet message to Wayne on her Instagram story with the caption,

“The 1st pic I ever took w/the man that changed my life. Happy Birthday to my everything @liltunechi.”
