Justin Bieber Announces Upcoming Line Of Pre-Rolled Joints Named After His Hit Song ‘Peaches’
Weed-smoking Justin Bieber fans are in for an exciting new collaboration!
Justin Bieber has decided to release a cannabis line. The 27-year-old pop star is partnering with Palms–a marijuana company based in L.A.–to unveil a line of pre-rolled joints. Notably, the brand will be named after Justin Bieber‘s hit song “Peaches.” The track was released earlier this year on his sixth studio album, Justice.
Fans of the song may recall a memorable line that references cannabis consumption. In the chorus, Justin Bieber sings:
“I got my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, s**t), I get my weed from California (That’s that s**t).”
Regarding the upcoming partnership, Justin Bieber stated:
“I’m a fan of Palms and what they are doing by making cannabis approachable and helping to destigmatize it–especially for the many people who find it helpful for their mental health.”
With the new line, a portion of all proceeds will go towards three different organizations: Veterans Walk and Talk, Last Prisoners Project, and Eaze Momentum Accelerator. All the aforementioned groups are associated with cannabis in some capacity, with Veterans Walk and Talk being an organization that advocates for veterans being allowed to use medicinal marijuana and psychedelics. Additionally, Last Prisoners Project works to free people imprisoned for weed possession, and Eaze Momentum Accelerator works to get underrepresented groups involved in the marijuana industry.
Justin Bieber is not the only celebrity entering the cannabis market. Not long ago, Jay-Z launched a marijuana brand of his own, and Chris Webber recently announced he was opening a cannabis compound in Detroit.
