Tamar Braxton Says Family’s New Reality Show Won’t Pry Into Her Personal Life

Tamar Braxton is giving a few more details into her plans to return to reality TV. Earlier this week during a performance Tamar Braxton, 44, revealed that she and her family have plans to bring back their popular reality series Braxton Family Values. While on stage she said,

“How many of y’all miss ‘Braxton Family Values’? What if I told you ‘Braxton Family Values’ is coming back? Not on a foolish network I can tell you that.”

She added,

“The true depiction of a Black American family is not a bunch of foolishness. The other part of the truth is, I ain’t finna let the devil use me like that – for people’s entertainment purposes. It’s a no for me dawg. I’m not saying families don’t go through stuff ’cause we do. I’m not saying that we’re not ratchet ’cause we are. But only we can tell our story.”

Yesterday, (October 6) while at LAX Tamar Braxton shared more details about her return to reality TV and shared that the show won’t pry into her personal life, and will depict her family in a way she feels is fair.

Tamar has been very vocal about her issues with her former network WeTV. She’s previously accused WeTV of creating a toxic work environment and having a hand in her mental/emotional breakdown.

Tamar Braxton’s relationship with WeTV began roughly 10 years ago when her family’s reality show, Braxton Family Values, initially aired on the network.

She and her now ex-husband, Vincent Herbert, had a spinoff, Tamar and Vince. Most recently, Tamar starred in her own series, Tamar Get Ya Life, which also aired on WeTV.
