Cardi B Explains Why She No Longer Speaks About Politics: I Was Tired Of Getting Bullied
There is no room for bullies in Cardi B’s life.
Rapper Cardi B, 29, is known for speaking her mind, however, on recent political issues, that has not been the case. Now in a new tweet, the mother of two is opening up on why she is no longer addressing politics.

Question her silence, a fan tweeted Cardi B saying,
“@CardiB used to talk about politics & political matters! What happened with that?!??”
In response she said,
“I was tired of getting bullied by the republicans and also getting bashed by the same people I was standing up for.”

During the 2020 Presidential Election, Cardi was very transparent about her concerns and support for the Biden/Harris Administration. In an interview with now President Joe Biden, the ‘Fast 9‘ actress addressed COVID-19, medical care, and the Black Lives Matter movement. She said,
“And I want Black people to stop getting killed and no justice for it. I’m sick of it. I just want laws that are fair to Black citizens and fair to cops, too…”
Following her interview, Cardi B addressed Republicans calling her a ‘pawn’ in Joe Biden’s campaign. The ‘Up‘ rapper took to social media to address her critics saying,
“Republicans like Candace [Owens], Shapiro, Fox news made fun of me ,talk so much s*** about me and my song ‘WAP’. They said Biden use me as a pawn then weeks later we seen a list of rappers and artists that Trump was trying to reach out to and to pay for support a list that included my name.”

She added,
“I never got payed a dollar from Biden I just wanted to get to know him and open my fans up to the importance of voting. Im so proud of all these celebs who uses their platform and for the people who went out and voted WE DID IT! Don’t let nobody down play you for what you doing that’s how they try to take away your power .YOUR POWER IS YOUR VOICE! Congrats Biden! Your family here, and in Heaven are very proud of you! Also congratulations to Kamala you made history!”
