Vanessa Bryant Files To Trademark ‘KB24’ To Launch An Array Of Media & Sports Ventures In Kobe Bryant’s Name
Vanessa Bryant is fighting to help continue the late Kobe Bryant‘s legacy!
Almost two years ago, Vanessa Bryant‘s life was turned upside down after she lost her husband and daughter–Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant–in a tragic helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif. Seven other individuals also lost their lives in the accident.
Since the tragedy, Vanessa Bryant has actively been fighting to continue Kobe and Gianna Bryant‘s legacies–even releasing a “Mambacita” line last year and getting involved with Kobe Bryant‘s various business dealings. Now, Vanessa is looking to build a sports and media empire in his name.
Reportedly, Vanessa Bryant filed legal documents earlier this month to trademark “KB24.” Specifically, the trademark application covers various different media-based pursuits–including websites, digital collectibles, podcasts, broadcasting platforms, documentaries, movies, TV shows, and music! Additionally, the filing indicates that KB24 will also be involved in the businesses of training camps, sports cards, t-shirts, and food/drink containers.
With the large span of different products associated with KB24, it looks like Vanessa Bryant is setting the stage to keep Kobe’s name alive in a variety of different ways.
This news comes about six months after Vanessa Bryant cut ties with Nike. The decision was reportedly made due to Nike allegedly only offering a limited availability of Kobe‘s products following his 2016 retirement and 2020 death.
