Shareef, Son of Shaquille O’Neal & Shaunie Henderson, Gets Major Opportunity From Sacramento Kings!
Major congratulations are in order for Shareef O’Neal.
Over the weekend news broke that the 24-year-old inked a deal with the Sacramento Kings. Before signing with the Kings, Shareef, son of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and reality TV star Shaunie Henderson, played for NBA G League Ignite for the 2022-23 season. According to reports, Shareef was signed and waived, which means he’ll likely join Sacramento’s G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings.

However, reports note that there’s a strong chance he could score a two-way contract if he impresses the Sacramento Kings while playing with their affiliate team.
Praising her son for his latest accomplishment, Shaunie wrote in a heartfelt post shared on IG,
“I’m so proud of you @shareefoneal I can’t even talk about this without crying. I know this was always your goal and the odds you beat to finally see it happen is beyond amazing.”
She added,
“I prayed that you would never give up, that you wouldn’t be discouraged. I know you had some doubtful days but you consistently pushed through. This is so much bigger than basketball.”
