Kelly Price Calls Out Venue For Falsely Advertising An Upcoming Performance, Says She Won’t Be Back On Stage Until A Doctor Says It’s Okay
Kelly Price is putting a stop to false promotions and making her health the top priority.
In a new Instagram post, the 48-year-old singer shares a screenshot of a venue promoting her for an upcoming show, which she says isn’t true.
She shared the promotion with the caption,
“As much as I would like to say I’m returning to the stage Thanksgiving Weekend it’s not true. I won’t be back on stage until a doctor says it’s okay for me to be on one!!! Not cool to mislead the folks.”
She continued,
“Thank you to the fans who reached out to me about this! When I make my return to the stage I’ll be screaming it and posting it from the rooftops. In other words if I ain’t post it… it ain’t happening! And btw… I was never confirmed for this show so don’t let them tell you that lie either!!! #ShesFeelingFroggy”
Price recently made headlines when her family reported her missing after the He Proposed To Me singer revealed she had COVID. Price eventually came forward and shared that she was never missing but instead, was in isolation focusing on her healing due to a severe battle with the deadly virus.
Many doubted the “American Soul” star’s experience, to which she said,
“No one would do this for attention. If you’ve never had a near-death experience, then you couldn’t possibly understand what it is to go through this in your mind. The night terrors, being afraid to go to sleep because you think if you go to sleep you’re not gonna wake up in the morning.”
