Tamar Braxton Closes On Her First Real Estate Investment Property In Atlanta
Tamar Braxton is adding ‘investor’ to her resume.
Tamar Braxton is opening up about her new business venture. In an Instagram post, the reality star shares her excitement and details about her new investment property in Atlanta, GA.
On Instagram, she wrote,
“My heart is so full today! The last few years I felt like I was in a tornado with the whole world watching. But today I’m on a new journey and everything is under construction (new music, new book, new candles, new tv projects, & real estate). I have so much to be thankful for.”
“Today I closed on my first real estate investment project in Atlanta. It’s a 10 million dollar subdivision project and I’m super excited about it. It’s a small upscale private gated community that will have a nature walking trail, fishing pond, basketball court, pool, etc. The homes will start in the low one million and are located 15 mins from Buckhead.”
“I just want to thank Richie Rich @boonem my manager for including me in this deal and helping me get my start in real estate. Even though this is my first project I will be working on more real estate deals … one will include affordable housing in my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. #comingsoon [cheer emoji] to a new journey! #undercontraction”
With her new investment, Tamar Braxton will join other celebrities in the real estate business like T.I. and Tiny, who recently revealed their investment in affordable housing.
The project is a first for the couple as investors and will be located in Bankhead. In an Instagram video, T.I. said,
“So yeah, checking on my development here in Bankhead man, you know what I’m saying. This right here used to be the old K-Mart, Giant Food, and now we have affordable housing. 143 units going up. Big huge community ya dig? We’re about 40 percent done, we’re supposed to be done sometime next year. Since so much is from here, let’s see what you’ve done for here.”
