Tami Roman Gave Her Husband Permission To Find Another Woman To Have A Child With

Tami Roman opened up about giving her husband permission to have a baby with another woman.

Tami Roman, 51 and husband Reggie Youngblood, 34 were married in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas in 2018.

During an interview on the daytime talk show The Real, Tami Roman, who has two daughters from a previous marriage, was asked about her relationship with Reggie Youngblood and their surrogacy journey.

Tami Roman said,

“It’s on pause.”

She explained,

“I feel like I’m at a point where my career is starting to do and reward me for all of the time and my efforts that I’ve been in this business and a baby for me right now would just not be the thing to do.”

She then revealed an “offer” she made Reggie Youngblood, who currently has no biological children.

“So what I offered him was an opportunity for us to take a break for a year or two and let him go find someone to have a child with. And then when he has his baby, we could get back together.” 

The hosts were shocked by her revelation and Garcelle Beauvais chimed in with,

“Stop it.”

 Adrienne Houghton also asked

“You would genuinely be okay with that?”

Tami Roman added,

“ I will help raise the baby, It’s just I don’t want to have it, I don’t want to get my eggs – it’s really about him being able to have his legacy here because he’s an only child. And he does not have any children so it’s really more for him than it is for me.”  

“I believe in co-parenting. I think it’s a very valuable part of a child’s life.”

She also clarified that her husband turned down the offer saying he said,

“I don’t want that, I fell in love with you. You’re the woman I’m going to spend the rest of my life with and if God put me here and I’m not supposed to have any children, that’s what it is.”
