Erykah Badu Sparks Engagement Rumors After Going IG Official W/ Partner

Is Erykah Badu ready to walk down the aisle with her beau?

Over the weekend, Erykah Badu went Instagram official with her partner, JaRon Adkinson–also known as JaRon The Secret. The singer specifically uploaded her partner in a photo dump this past Saturday (Dec. 4th), captioned:

“Solar Eclipse Dump. Making room for many many many more memories. Right now, Moon covers the suns eyes forcing it to use other forms of vision. (Closes Eyes) I see you with my heart. I see you with my gut. Here’s to my GUY & Setting intentions, Breathing easy, moving in unison, finely blended family harmonics. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Happy to be here on this school called earth.. with you.”

The photo dump was entirely comprised of pictures that showed off the 27-year-old music producer. Notably, the last upload featured the couple donning yellow-green rings on their left ring fingers, sparking rumors that they’re engaged!

It’s also worth pointing out that, while Erykah Badu rarely chose to post JaRon The Secret, he uploaded a photo with her back in Sept.

It’s unclear whether the couple is truly engaged or not, and Erykah Badu hasn’t dished on the matter via Twitter.

However, since news came out, the singer did address the subject of ageism on social media. In response to how some publications are covering the story and the couple’s age gap, Badu tweeted:

“Why every time there is an article about a woman over 30 the journalists mentions the age? ‘Erykah bardu [sic]’, 50 does the splits… E. Badu, 50, had feelings…’ It ain’t my birthday, or death day. So, What does this MEAN?”
