‘Superfly’ Actor Kaalan Walker Facing Life Sentence, 30 Women Accuse Him Of Sexual Assault
Rapper-actor Kaalan Walker’s short-lived freedom is in danger of being cut short.
Kaalan “KR” Walker, 26, could be heading back to jail soon. Los Angeles County prosecutors reportedly laid their case on Monday (Dec. 6) and shockingly revealed that over 30 women have allegedly accused Kaalan Walker of sexual assault.
Prosecutors have reportedly established a pattern with Kaalan, highlighting the fact that some of the accusations involve corresponding elements. In 2018, he was arrested and charged for using photoshoots to attract models, telling them he’d help them with their careers, and sexually assaulting them. He was released on reduced bail earlier this year due to COVID-19.
His previous charges reportedly allowed prosecutors to segue into a new case. On Monday (Dec. 6), allegedly he pleaded not guilty to 6 counts of rape, 2 counts of unlawful intercourse with a minor, and multiple felonies. There are reportedly 11 victims involved, and prosecutors were urging Judge Joseph Brandolino to allow them to add 5 more. Kaalan’s lawyer, Andrew Flier, immediately fired back at their request, allegedly saying that additional victims would add unnecessary time to the trial.
The Judge reportedly agreed to add 1 of the 5 to the case. Prosecutors were allegedly able to link this incident–a hotel room rape–to an incident that he was charged for in 2018. Both incidents reportedly involved Kaalan meeting women in a public setting, assaulting them shortly after, and DNA evidence.
Kaalan’s lawyer allegedly denied the allegations and shared his stance, stating:
“Mr. Walker was in consensual and voluntary contact with every one of these women. There’s no abduction rape. There’s no forced rape. Purportedly, he is giving them information like, ‘Hey, I could put you in a movie. I could put you in a rap video. I could create a star.’ And that’s what gets them to do things they might not normally want to do.”
He continued:
“And now that the stardom and glory didn’t come to fruition, they’re lying and saying he assaulted them.”
He added:
“We believe that every one of these young ladies is lying.”
Around 2013, Kaalan started building a social media presence. He uploaded videos of himself dancing to YouTube, along with his rap music. On Instagram, he advertised himself as a photographer. Aspiring models like Sydney Stanford and Tiara Kelly would reportedly express their interest in his work via Instagram and decided to set up photoshoots with him in Los Angeles.
Sydney Stanford was 19 when she allegedly agreed to meet Kaalan for a photoshoot in 2017. She claims that Kaalan raped her inside of a locked car shortly after meeting. Although she is not one of the 11 victims listed on the indictment, she reportedly says that has spoken to authorities and prosecutors.

The two have been interviewed by a popular social media blog and recounted the abuse that they endured. Sydney Stanford has been vocal about her experience with Kaalan on social media.
His victims have allegedly claimed that, if he is not put behind bars, he will continue to rape women.
Kaalan “KR” Walker appeared in the 2017 indie film Kings with Halle Berry. In 2018, he played “Ju Ju” in Superfly, starring alongside Outkasts’s Big Boi.
Kaalan was present at the hearing on Monday (Dec. 6); however, he allegedly didn’t speak. The trial, which will reportedly tackle his recurring instances of sexual assault, will start on Jan. 11, 2022. If convicted, he will spend the rest of his life in prison.
