Common Explains His Breakup With Tiffany Haddish: We Weren’t Feeding The Relationship
It seems all good things must come to an end with Common and Tiffany Haddish because the couple is over.
According to reports, Common spoke in an interview where he did confirm that the relationship between him, and Tiffany had officially ended due to conflicting schedules with their careers. Common tells Hollywood Unlocked that the breakup was not due to a lack of love, but rather not being able to give it their all.
I don’t think the love really dispersed. I think it was just like we weren’t feeding the relationship.
The Suicide Squad actor still has a lot of respect for Tiffany. In the interview, he gushed over how much he loved her, and wanted to grow with her.
First of all, I want to say Tiffany, as you know, is for me, like, one of the best people I met in life. One of the best-hearted and most authentic and caring people that I met in life, and that’s what made me love her and be in love with her her and want to be in a relationship with her and grow with her.
According to reports, the couple broke up in November after more than a year of dating. Common, who has been connected to a few leading ladies including Erykah Badu and Serena Williams, stated how his relationship with Tiffany was probably his most mature relationship of all time.
We had a real healthy and loving relationship. It was probably the most mature relationship I’ve been in. The communication, the respect, just all around, man.
The 49 year-old actor said his career, and personal life became hard “to balance … and keep the relationship fair,” but noted the split was
“a mutual thing.”
They both agreed not to have one foot in, and on foot out.
I feel like both of us cherish and valued our relationship and both have come out better human beings.
