Rick Ross Shadily Claims 50 Cent Only Made $250,000 Off Of ‘BMF’: Tell Him I Said ‘Congratulations’

It looks like Rick Ross still has some bad blood with 50 Cent!

For over a decade now, 50 Cent and Rick Ross (real names Curtis Jackson and William Roberts II, respectively) have been engaged in some high-profile rap beef. While the situation has thankfully never gotten physical between the pair, they have exchanged a number of jabs at each other over the years.

One of the most memorable highlights from this feud is Rick Ross going as far as portraying a fictional funeral service for 50 Cent at the end of his “In Cold Blood” video.

Aside from rap drama, the men have also engaged in continual legal battles with each other in past years.

While the pair’s ongoing beef hasn’t made headlines for a while, Rick Ross recently took aim at 50 Cent during an interview. Ross began his shade-throwing after the interviewer asked if he’d be open to doing a Verzuz battle against 50, to which he replied:

“You got to ask yourself would he come and do a Verzuz with Rozay. I mean, you got to ask yourself honestly, would he come and stand next to Rozay in the arena or wherever it would be? That’s really your question. I don’t even think it’s a question of if I would do it. That s**t light.”

Rick Ross then proceeded to take aim at 50 Cent‘s highly-acclaimed TV series, Black Mafia Family (BMF). For context, the series premiered on Starz earlier this year and has been greenlit for a second season.

However, despite the series’ success, Ross said 50 “didn’t do nothing” and shadily claimed the “In Da Club” rapper only made $250,000 off of his TV venture. He stated:

“I helped the views on his shows. On TV, he didn’t do nothing, man. I saw the first [episode of ‘BMF’]. I was just trying to support the homie [Big] Meech, the n***as in the street. I’m a real n***a. I could put [my issues with 50] to the side. I know he may have made a quarter million off the whole season. I’m happy he made that quarter.”

The interviewer then laughed, and Rick Ross continued:

“You know that’s what he made. Why you laughing like that? And make sure you put all these details in. I’ll never let you interview me again if you take that out. Keep it. But, look I know he made 250k off the whole season, and that’s good. Tell him I said, ‘Congratulations.'”

50 Cent has not yet publicly acknowledged Rick Ross‘ diss.
