Dennis Rodman Confronted By Florida Authorities After Refusing To Wear His Mask During A Flight
Dennis Rodman garnered some negative attention during a recent cross-country fight!
Yesterday morning (Monday, Dec. 20th), ex-NBA star Dennis Rodman took a JetBlue flight from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale. During his time on the plane, staff reportedly asked him to put on his face mask–which is required on all flights–a total of four times.
While Dennis Rodman would comply by briefly putting his mask on, the former athlete claimed it caused him breathing issues and would continually take it off. As a result, Dennis Rodman was met by Broward County Sherriff’s deputies upon landing due to his in-flight antics.
The officers were presumably called as a precaution, as various people have made headlines over the past year-and-a-half for causing in-flight disruptions over not wanting to wear a mask.
Despite being confronted by the authorities, Rodman fully cooperated and was ultimately not issued a citation. He has not publicly addressed the matter on any of his social media platforms.

It’s worth noting that Dennis Rodman‘s incident comes less than a month after R&B singer Ari Lennox was detained in Amsterdam. Specifically, Ari Lennox accused Dutch authorities of being anti-Black and arresting her for “reacting to a woman racially profiling [her].”

However, Amsterdam authorities have in turn accused the “BUSSIT” singer of exhibiting drunk and disorderly conduct, which allegedly led to her arrest.
