Janet Jackson Finally Addresses Michael Jackson’s 1993 And 2005 Child Molestation Allegations: I Was Guilty By Association
Janet Jackson opens up about some of the controversial moments in her career, and how her famous brother’s allegations impacted her livelihood.
Music icon Janet Jackson, 55, is showing us a side that we’ve never seen before. To promote her new Lifetime documentary, Janet, she’s been getting a little more candid than usual. She recently sat down with a magazine to uncover some behind-the-scenes secrets from her music videos that have been in the vault for more than two decades.
Miss Jackson revealing that she wasn’t actually trying to lick Busta Rhymes in 1999’s “What’s It Gonna Be?!” served as a mere appetizer for what will be spilled throughout the documentary.
In a snippet from the trailer for the mini-series of sorts, a producer brings up Michael Jackson’s child molestation allegations, which plagued his career in the ’90s and early 2000s.

It appears that Janet will finally explore how The King of Pop’s run-ins with the law impacted her career. Her answer to whether it affected her career or not was:
“Yeah…guilty by association.”
Janet will also cover the infamous wardrobe malfunction that occurred on the Super Bowl halftime show stage in 2004. The megastar will have a lot to say about Justin Timberlake–who shared the stage with her that night and notoriously caused the mishap–along with the industry as a whole.

From the moment it all began in the late ’60s in the small town of Gary, Indiana, millions of people have been dying to get a glimpse of who the Jacksons really are. On Jan. 28th, Janet Jackson–who’s maintained a low profile throughout her entire career–will take it from 2300 Jackson Street to the Encino mansion to where she is today.
Among those who will make an appearance include the Jackson matriarch, Katherine Jackson, older sister Rebbie Jackson, Mariah Carey, Whoopi Goldberg, Jermaine Dupri, and more.
