Wendy Williams Allegedly Fires Management Team & Is Only Speaking To Her Son & Ex Husband Amid Being Replaced By Sherri Shepherd

It looks like Wendy Williams is cleaning house!

According to reports, the Daytime Diva has gotten rid of both her longtime manager, Bernie Young, and her recent crisis manager, Howard Bragman. The firing came shortly after it was announced that ‘The Wendy Williams Show” was ending and would be replaced by Sherri Shepherd and her new talk show. According to an inside source, Wendy has cut all communication with her former managers.

“Bernie and Howard are out. They don’t even have a way to get in contact with her…No one has no way to get in contact with Wendy, she doesn’t even have her own phone anymore.”

According to the source, Bragman was brought on by the show’s production company, Debmar Mercury — not by Wendy Williams. However, Debmar Mercury has denied this claim. Reportedly, Bragman was hired in September, just two days after Wendy was transported to a New York City hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

Now, the 57-year-old media personality seems to be relying on her family more than ever. A close friend to Wendy insisted that instead of depending on her team to help her during this difficult time, she is leaning more on her 21-year-old son, Kevin Hunter Jr. and her ex-husband Kevin Hunter Sr

“Her son is doing a great job with her, taking care of her and getting her the help she needs. Kevin Jr has Power of Attorney, but his dad is helping him manage what that means he needs to do. He’s young, and because of everything going on, Wendy isn’t opposed to having her ex-husband help her.”

As previously reported, Howard Bragman released a statement claiming that the popular TV personality was understanding about the changes taking place surrounding her show. He said,

“It’s been a challenging time for Wendy as she deals with her health issues. She is incredibly grateful to Debmar-Mercury, to Sherri and everybody else who has supported the show through this time. She, more than anyone, understands the reality of syndicated television — you can’t go to the marketplace and sell a show that’s the Maybe Wendy Show.”
However, Wendy Williams claimed otherwise and revealed that she never gave anyone permission to speak on her behalf. In a Instagram story post, she wrote,

“Mr. Bragman, although I appreciate your concerns and respect you immensely, I have not authorized you to make any statements on my behalf regarding my current status with Debmar Mercury. Again, thanks for your continuing concern and support.”

Wendy Williams has not appeared on her show since July 2021. Since then, the series has been hosted by a rotating cast of celebrity guests including Sherri Shepherd, Michael Rapaport, Leah Remini and Terrence J.
