T.I. Responds To Kodak Black Claiming He Tried To Get Him Booted From Atlantic Records
T.I. is clearing the air with Kodak Black.
Following a freestyle verse where 24-year-old Kodak Black accused T.I. of trying to get him kicked off of his label at Atlantic Records, T.I. responds saying the incident never happened, and he doesn’t know where it came from.

While interviewing with The Breakfast Club last month, “Bodak Yellow” rapper Kodak Black accused the Atlanta native of partnering with radio host rapper Big Boy to get Kodak kicked off his label at Atlantic Records. During the freestyle Kodak says:
“N–as tried to play me out my money. Made a general statement I was speaking in third personThey tried to twist the s–t and hurt meSnatching out food from a tableBig Boy and T.I. tried to get me kicked up off the label”
“Happened to scroll down man and see a young brotha, Kodak, kickin’ a freestyle on The Breakfast Club, mention my name and said something about me and Big Boy tried to get him kicked off a label. Hm, whenever I hear my name associated to shi that ain’t true, I try my best, at least initially, to clear that shit up.

“My n-gga, I ain’t ever wasted my time, energy or oxygen trying to worry about you or nobody else and what muthafuckin’ record label they’re signed to. That ain’t how I get down. I know you don’t know me, so I’m just going to say this right here, that ain’t how I get down. I don’t care what record label you signed to, I don’t care how much money you have, I ain’t trying to interfere with none of that.”
The “A.S.A.P.” rapper goes on to say that he and Kodak already slapped hands and squashed their beef, and shows love to his most recent song release.
“I don’t care what record label you signed to. I don’t care how much money you have. I ain’t trying to interfere with none of that. I wish you the absolute best. And I told you that face-to-face in your section at Booby Trap. Told you, ‘I’m happy for your success and I wish you much more of it and I wish you the absolute best on your journey.’ So, I don’t know where that shit came from. We slapped hands and parted ways amicably…Your song jammin, though. I fuck with it. Continue on.”
If you recall, the two previously had multiple heated exchanges after Kodak made “inappropriate” comments about actress Lauren London following her partner Nipsey Hussle’s passing. To which T.I. publicly scolded the rapper and told him “to fix it”.
