Kandi Burruss Says ‘No Diss to Them’ But Upcoming ‘RHOA’ Season Is ‘Way Better’ Without Cynthia Bailey & Porsha Williams

Kandi Burruss isn’t losing any sleep over Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams leaving “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

As previously reported, last year Cynthia Bailey, 55, and Porsha Williams, 40, shared with “RHOA” fans that they will not be a part of the cast for the upcoming 14th season. Since stepping away from the popular reality series both ladies have already made their return to the world of TV. Porsha Williams, 40, landed her own spin-off series, “Porsha’s Family Matters,” and Cynthia Bailey recently took home 3rd place on “Celebrity Big Brother.”

During a recent interview, Kandi Burruss, 45, chatted about the shocking “RHOA” cast shake-up for season 14 and revealed how she really feels about Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams exiting the series. She said,

“When we got ready to start the season, I was a little nervous because I’m like, ‘OK, we are losing two peaches that are very important to the franchise. How’s that gonna go?’”

Kandi Burruss continued and shared that despite her initial worries, “RHOA” is just fine without her former cast members.

“But let me tell you, no diss to them, this season is going to be way better than the last few. I would say it’s a really, really good season and I’m excited for people to watch.”

According to reports, Kandi, Kenya Moore, 51, and Drew Sidora, 36, have all returned for the upcoming “RHOA” season. OG castmate Sheree Whitfield, 52, made her comeback after taking a break and longtime friend of the series Marlo Hampton has officially received an “RHOA” peach. Former Jamaican-American track and field star Sanya Richards-Ross, 37, has joined the main cast this season as well.

During her interview, Kandi also revealed that fans can expect to see a heated argument she had with Marlo Hampton.

“[This season] was stressful to me with a whole argument with Marlo. We were saying things that were very below the belt at each other, we were throwing some really low blows.”

She added,

“I was the main one saying that Marlo should get a peach. I kept telling everybody that and so when she got her peach, I was excited for her. I was not expecting for me and her to bump heads. That was the last thing I was expecting. If you can roll back to when she first came on the show in season four, she and I bumped heads then, so it was similar to that, but a little worse.”
