Wendy Williams Reunites With DJ Boof Amid His 2020 Firing From ‘The Wendy Williams Show’
It looks like Wendy Williams is repairing her friendship with DJ Boof!
The talk show host and DJ were not on speaking terms since he left her show in 2020. As previously reported, Wendy Williams, 57, allegedly fired her long time DJ from ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ in 2020, replacing him with Power 105.1 DJ, DJ Suss One. Shortly before the alleged firing, rumors began swirling that Wendy Williams and DJ Boof, 37, were dating as they were spotted at multiple places together and she posted a photo of them in the car together and called him her ‘special friend.’

After fans alluded to Williams’ drug use playing a role in the firing, DJ Boof took to social media cosigning the theory and shared his candid thoughts of what was happening behind the scenes of the popular talk show.
“Ya’ll have no idea what’s really going on and everyone there is afraid to speak up because they don’t wanna lose their jobs.. this is going to play out bad.. I feel sorry for the workers and victims.”

Now, after some time has passed, it looks like the two are back on good terms! On Sunday (Mar.13), DJ Boof, shared a picture of he and Wendy Williams hanging out. He was reportedly in town working a gig over Spring Break, which prompted their meetup. He captioned the post,
“I don’t wanna hear it [laughing emoji] 2022”

As no surprise, people went crazy over their reunion, sharing nothing but positive comments and uplifting words! See reactions below:

Wendy Williams‘ reunion with DJ Boof comes after she is preparing to sue the producers of her show for canceling the program and replacing it with Sherri Shepherd’s own talk show called Sherri, which will debut in the fall. According to Radar, Wendy is unhappy with the production staff replacing her with Sherri Shepherd.
A source told the outlet:
“Wendy is on sick leave and has basically been fired. This isn’t right and Wendy isn’t going to take this,”
They continued:
“She is considering legal action again her producers and is also deciding on what to do about Sherri Shepherd. Sherri was supposed to be a friend filling in for Wendy while she was sick, but instead, Sherri stabbed Wendy in the back. If anyone thinks Wendy is going to disappear without a fight they are a fool.”
