According to Fat Joe, the memoir isn’t just a “rapper’s story.” Fat Joe says in the video on Instagram,
“It’s talking about everything. Police brutality, drug abuse, selling drugs, hustling, getting locked up, getting framed, getting betrayed, depression, hip-hop’s greatest moments, they all in this book.”
Friends and fans have been flooding the All The Way Up rapper’s news feed as they show their support of the novel, including celebrities like DJ Khaled, 46, who revealed a closer look at the memoir’s cover art.

The Book Of Jose will be released by Roc Nation and Roc Lit 101, Roc Nation’s new publishing company launching with Penguin Random House in November 2022. The Terror Squad leader wrote his memoir with the help of veteran music journalist Shaheem Reid.
