Garcelle Beauvais Says ‘I Blew That One’ As She Reflects On Short Romance W/ Michael Jordan In New Memoir
Garcelle Beauvais is putting it all out there in her new book, Love Me As I Am, and is even dishing about her former brief relationship with NBA legend Michael Jordan.
In the memoir, Garcelle Beauvais shared that she initially met Michael Jordan at a photoshoot in New York while she was working as a model. According to the “housewive,” at first, Michael Jordan’s name “didn’t ring a bell,” but she wound up having “so much fun” with him. She added,
“I was impressed by how tall and handsome he was. He took me on a golf date after the shoot and showed me how to hold a club properly and swing.”

Later, she claimed, Michael Jordan asked her to join him on a trip to Hawaii. But Beauvais passed on the opportunity, feeling uncomfortable with the idea of traveling with a man she barely knew. She explained,
“Like a naive little girl, I was ‘clutching my pearls’ and shocked by the idea of going to Hawaii with a man I had just met.”
But in hindsight, Beauvais regrets not going. She shared,
“I blew that one!”

Beauvais would go on to marry and divorce producer Daniel Saunders, with whom she shares a son, Oliver. She married again in 2001 to talent agent Mike Nilon, but they split in 2010 after she found out he had allegedly been cheating on her. She and Mike Nilon share two children, Jax and Jaid.
