Erica Mena No Longer Wants To Discuss Her Relationships On ‘Love & Hip Hop’: You Never Have To Hear About My Love Life Ever Again

“Love & Hip Hop” vet Erica Mena says she no longer wants to talk about her love life on the hit reality show!

Erica Mena, 34, took to social media on Wednesday (Apr.13) to celebrate the end of filming for the upcoming season of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” In a video posted to her Instagram story, she promised fans that after this next season, she will no longer discuss her love life on the show. While talking to a producer of the show, Erica Mena said,

“Can we make the people a promise? That after this season they will never hear about my love life ever again. We done tried it. Girl, female, guy, whatever; horse, cow, and I done got married and it still didn’t work.”

She continued,

“So my personal/love life will be off of “Love & Hip Hop,” I promise you. You never have to hear about my love life ever again!”

Fans of the show can recall witnessing Mena’s rocky love life displayed on the reality show. More recently, her on-again, off-again relationship with ex-husband Safaree Samuels, 40. With multiple cheating allegations, social media rants, and lawsuits against each other, it should come as no surprise that these two are going their separate ways.

Last month, theJasmineBRAND exclusively reported that Mena tried to serve Safaree with divorce papers while at a party celebrating cast member and dancehall artist, Spice. 

Insiders told us that Mena abruptly interrupted the event as she yelled at Safaree and attempted to serve him legal papers. In the middle of the event, she could reportedly be heard yelling at her ex:

“You’re being a f*cking coward!”

Insiders say that Safaree tried to leave, however, Mena confronted him and things got even more heated. It’s likely that this altercation will play out on the upcoming season of “Love & Hip Hop.”

As previously reported, Erica Mena and Safaree tied the knot in 2019. Mena later filed for divorce in 2021. They share two children together, Safire Majesty Samuels and Legend Brian Samuels.
