Wendy Williams Says She Will Be Returning To TV In September
It looks like Wendy Williams may be making comeback sometime soon!
The legendary daytime talk show host–who has been MIA from her TV show for nearly a year due to health issues– attended a Met Gala after party with Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee. The two accompanied each other at a Met Gala after party hosted by Cardi B.

When asked by paparazzi if she will be returning to tv Wendy Williams replied,
“Yes, The Wendy Williams Show lives forever!”
Wendy was then asked if she would be back on daytime television in September, in which she gleefully responded,
“Yes! Yes! Yes!!”
Wendy Williams has recently been spotted out and about more frequently since seemingly getting her health issues under control. As previously reported, Wendy stepped back from her self-titled daytime talk show in July of 2021 due to issues with her health. Guest hosts filled in for her in the meantime, but by February, when she still hadn’t returned to work, the decision was made to cancel her show. Sherri Shepherd’s talk show will take its place in the fall.

This isn’t the first time Wendy Williams spoke about making a comeback to daytime tv! Last month, she was reportedly heard detailing her plans to TV personality Baruch Shemtov while they were dining out in New York City on April 13. A source said:
“She’s ready to get back to work. When you hear her talk… anyone who’s known her for years, knows they’re getting a Wendy who’s ready to work. She’s really in good form.”

At one point, reports claimed Wendy Williams had become reliant on a wheelchair, but the insider said that she’s now getting around on her own. They shared:
“She looks great. No one was helping her. It was very different from the person who we’ve seen in the wheelchair. She was walking by herself. No one helped her get in her car. She climbed right in and it was a Suburban.”
