Kardashian’s Lawyer Says Blac Chyna’s Bias Claim Is An ‘Effort To Save Face’

The Kardashian family lawyers are firing back at Blac Chyna’s bias claim!

The lawyers for the famed reality family are accusing Blac Chyna of filing a bias claim in an attempt for the reality star to “save face” following her defamation lawsuit against the family being thrown out last week.

According to court documents, lawyers for the Kardashian family said that Blac Chyna’s attempt to “make a scapegoat” of judge Gregory Alarcon was “frivolous” and “dishonest.”In the document, Chyna reportedly called judge Alarcon’s attitude “undeniably hostile and extremely biased.”

The family’s lawyers continued to say that Blac Chyna’s recent statement and sworn declaration of disqualification are,

“a baseless effort to save face after losing at trial and is devoid of any legal basis to disqualify Judge Alarcon from presiding over further matters in this occasion.”

They continued to criticize Blac Chyna’s actions,

“While Plaintiff and her counsel Lynne Ciani are understandably disappointed about the jury’s defence verdict following an emotionally charged trial, their effort to make a scapegoat of Judge Alarcon is frivolous, dishonest, and deserving of sanctions.”

On Monday (May 2), Blac Chyna lost her defamation and contract interference lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner family.

The reality star/model sued her ex Rob Kardashian’s sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and mother Kris Jenner for more than $100 million in monetary damages. The hefty lawsuit called for $40 million for loss of earnings and more than $60 million in future earnings for allegedly having her reality show “Rob & Chyna” cut from the E! Network for a second season. Kim Kardashian was dismissed from the lawsuit earlier in the trial by a judge prior to the big win for the Kardashian-Jenner family.

According to Blac Chyna’s attorney Lynne Ciani, she plans to appeal the verdict in her lawsuit case. The news of the appeal came shortly after the verdict was announced. Despite not winning her court case, the jurors reportedly came to the conclusion that Chyna was not abusive to her former fiancée Rob Kardashian, and that his family was involved in the cancellation of their show. Per reports, attorney Lynne Ciani stated,

“Two things. Number one, the jury found that Chyna had not physically abused Rob Kardashian.”

Lynne Ciani added,

“Number two, the jury found that all four defendants intentionally interfered with [Chyna’s] contracts with the E! Network. We will appeal the remainder of the verdict.”
