Kerry Washington was in the hot seat with co-stars after discussing kissing scenes in an previous interview.
The Scandal actress recently reflected on the aftermath of being asked who she enjoyed kissing more on set between co-stars Tony Goldwyn and Scott Foley. During a recent interview, Kerry Washington, 45, explained the reason she answered that question, claiming she doesn’t enjoy lip touching scenes with either of them. She stated:
“I thought I was keeping the peace by saying, ‘I don’t like kissing either one of them,”
Then continued:
“They were both pretty p**sed for years.”
Kerry Washington embodied the fictional character Olivia Pope on ABC’s hit series Scandal for seven seasons. The Emmy winning actress starred on the show, which debuted 10 years ago, alongside actors Tony Goldwyn and Scott Foley who both played Olivia’s love interests.
Jokingly, Kerry went on to mock her co-stars in the interview, who she recalls asked her:
“Why would you say that on national television?!”
