Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Planning To Raise New Baby In Barbados, Inside Sources Say

Looks like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky will not be raising their child in the U.S.

According to an inside source, the new parents plan to return to their native land Barbados to raise their son. Reportedly, pop star Rihanna, 34, and her rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky, 33, have already began making arrangements to leave their L.A. home after the baby’s grown a few months. The two musicians welcomed the first child for both of them on May 13th.

An inside source on the matter stated:

“Rihanna loves Barbados and she loved growing up there….Both her and ASAP’s family are in Barbados, so the couple are planning to move there in a few months’ time.”

The “Diamonds” artist, who has lived in the states since she was 16, has remained tied to her Carribean roots. For years, Rihanna has used her platform to bring awareness to the country’s issues and influence Barbados politics.

In November of 2021, Rihanna and was named a national hero by the country’s Prime Minister Mia Mottley, who is reportedly her child’s godmother. The entertainer still serves as an ambassador to the country.

According to the source, Rihanna and A$AP want to raise their child away from the entertainment industry. The source stated:

“She wants to give her baby the same experience she had – away from the world of showbusiness.”

Previously, it was reported that the celebrity couple also wants to tie the knot in their homeland as well. In A$AP’s new video D.M.B., which stars his songstress lover, the rapper showcases a diamond grill that reads “marry me?”. To which a smiling Rihanna flashes her iced out grill that reads “I do”.

However, neither Rihanna nor A$AP have officially confirmed marrying nor moving speculations. The name of their child also remains unknown by the public for the time being.
