Shaunie O’Neal Talks Rekindling Relationship With Brandi After Telling Her “Thank You For Your Services” + Admits She Was Saddened By Brandi’s Fallout With Malaysia: They Were Like BFF’s

Looks like the drama and suspense will not be lacking in the next season of Basketball Wives.

Shaunie O’Neal

The VHI reality series producer Shaunie O’Neal, recently shared what fans can expect in the new season that premiered this past Monday, May 16th. Shaunie O’Neal, who gleefully says she took a back seat as a featured cast member this season, spoke on reuniting many of the former cast members, as well as the refreshed and newly broken relationships viewers will get to see. During a recent interview with Bossip, Shaunie O’Neal shared that her beef with castmate Brandi Maxiell ended long before the audience saw, and that she was shocked and saddened at Brandi and Malaysia Pargo’s falling out.

After the interviewer questioned who she had the most fun filming with, the former wife of Lakers giant Shaquille O’Neal stated:

“I’m not there a lot this season….thank God,”

Then continued:

“But I was excited to see Brandi, cause I hadn’t seen her in a while. I’m more so excited for ya’ll to see me with Brandi.”

If you recall, Brandi Maxiell was famously dismissed by Shaunie back in 2015, after the two verbally sparred about Shaunie’s treatment of the cast. The infamous moment came when Brandi called Shaunie a b***h, to which Shaunie responds

“I’ll be that b***h for you, thank you for your services.”

However, the TV personality says that’s all in the past and she was happy to rekindle things with her longtime friend. In the interview Shaunie stated:

“Brandi and I have been adults a long time with each other….but you guys didn’t get to see it,”

Then continued:

“Hopefully this will fix it for the folks and they can leave my girl alone.”

The interviewer additionally asked Shaunie about Brandi’s ongoing beef with her former BFF Malaysia Pargo. Admitting she was sad to see their friendship end, Shaunie stated:

“I was hurt by that because I didn’t know what happened…. Everything was played out during the pandemic on Instagram.”

According to the trailer, Brandi claims her and her former friend Malaysia haven’t spoken in three years. Reportedly, the relationship was deemed unsalvageable by Brandi after Malaysia failed to reach out following her father’s passing. Speaking on how the other BBW castmates reacted to their feud, Shaunie stated

“I think we noticed it but nobody asked….Things happen in real life off camera that affected their relationship….But it’s a collective thing that Brandi and Malaysia gotta get right….It was like peas in a pod they were like BFF’s. “

Maybe by the end of season 10 fans can look forward to a happy Brandi x Malaysia reunion. However, if the trailer is any indication of how the situation will end, it’s safe to assume things will remain icy between the two for the time being.
