NBA Star Jaylen Brown Signs Deal With Kanye’s Donda Sports
Hip-hop trailblazer Kanye West is expanding his sports marketing venture.
According to reports, the rap artist’s athletics marketing company Donda Sports, recently signed Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown to their roster. The sports company named NFL star Antonio Brown president back in February of this year.

Reportedly, Jaylen Brown, 25, was recruited by the agency for his “intelligence, social activism, charitable work”, and obvious talent in basketball. The sports athlete played an integral role in Boston’s advance to this years NBA finals, where they will face off against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
Jaylen, who regularly flaunts his fashion style via instagram and pregame outfit choices, also owns a clothing line, 7UICE. Donda Sports president Antonio Brown previously shared the company’s ambition of seriously merging fashion with sports, stating:
“We’re just excited about the Donda Sports brand, and making this thing a competitive sports brand to the athletes,”

Then continued:
“I don’t think there’s a lot of fashion lines for athletes, wearing fashionable and comfortable clothes, so with a guy like Kanye West, being able to partner with him and work with him to provide more creative, genius ideas for fashion looks for athletes in general.”
Earlier this week, it was announced that Donda Sports also signed NFL star Aaron Donald. The 2021 Super Bowl champion called his deal with Kanye’s agency a “no-brainer”, stating:
“It was an opportunity that came to us and it made sense….Hearing the whole spectrum of everything that they was gonna be bringing, the family atmosphere that they got at Donda Sports … for me, it was a no-brainer.”
Donda Sports aims to help elongate athletes careers far after their time playing by merging them with major brand deals. Reportedly, Kanye is said to believe Jaylen is:
“underappreciated and wants to bring him to ‘superhero’ status during his career and long after his playing days.”
Neither Jaylen, Antonio Brown, nor Kanye have made any public statement regarding Jaylen joining the Donda Sports team.
