‘Basketball Wives’ Star Malaysia Pargo Says Friendship W/ Brandi Maxiell Ended After Her Co-Star Was Fired From The Series: For Some Reason She Blames Me
New revelations have surfaced pertaining to “Basketball Wives” stars Malaysia Pargo and Brandi Maxiell ending their friendship.
On the latest episode of VH1’s “Basketball Wives,” cast members Malaysia Pargo, 41, and Brandi Maxiell, 39, are still working through the fallout from their former friendship. In the episode, tensions escalated between the two after Malaysia Pargo brought an unexpected guest to their event gathering.
While venting to fellow cast member DJ Duffey, 33, Malaysia got candid on the circumstances behind her friendship with Brandi Maxiell. In an emotional clip, Malaysia shared,
“You’ve been sitting in your f*cking basement for four years looking for a reason. I am not the reason why you wasn’t on the show. I’m not about to stop my job because you didn’t keep your f*cking mouth closed.”
Malaysia added,
“I did not do anything. If anything, I tried to keep you on the show, but nobody else would film with you.”
Malaysia continued, suggesting that the fallout between the pair occurred because of Brandi’s sudden dismissal from the reality TV series in 2015. Malaysia said,
“I’ve been trying to keep the past in the past, but I just can’t anymore. And I feel like the real reason why Brandi and I aren’t as close anymore is because she got kicked off the show. And for some reason she blames me for it.”

As previously reported, Brandi’s time on the series came to an end when she clashed with one of the show’s executive producers, Shaunie O’Neal, 47.
After Brandi’s departure, she said that she and her former friend Malaysia had gone 3 years without speaking. Reportedly, their relationship was unreconcilable after Malaysia failed to reach out to Brandi following her father’s passing.
