Kim Kardashian Accused Of Copying Lori Harvey’s Skincare Company Name: She’s Stealing From Black Women Again

Is imitation really the highest form of flattery?

Yesterday (June 1) Kim Kardashian, 41, made headlines after announcing she was launching her very own skincare line. The new company, called SKKN By Kim, is set to be available to the public on June 21. According to reports, SKKN By Kim will be kicking off with 9 products, which will include a facial cleanser, toner, and eye cream. The prices are expected to range from $43 to $95.

As exciting as Kim Kardashian’s new business venture is, many couldn’t help but notice how familiar her company’s name sounds. As previously reported, socialite Lori Harvey launched her own skincare line in October. The 25-year-old businesswoman named her company SKN by LH. To date, her skincare line offers 5 different products with prices ranging from $35 to $50.

Following Kim’s announcement about her newest venture, it didn’t take long for people to accuse the business mogul of copying Lori Harvey’s company name. One Twitter user said,

“So Kim didn’t wanna steer away from sounding similar to an existing skincare brand called SKN by Lori Harvey?”

Another added,

“are u weird lmaoooo not biting Lori’s entire skincare line. & we’re very tired of skincare from celebs and influencers please we’re on clinical-grade skincare now.”

Others chimed in and said:

Lori Harvey has yet to address the situation.
