Amanda Seales Reacts To Being Excluded From ‘The Real’ Farewell Episode Promo: I Must Be Out Here Shaking The Table!

Comedian Amanda Seales is not here for being left out of The Real’s final goodbyes.

Following the daytime talk shows’ final episode, which aired this past Friday (June 3rd), fans pointed out that former host, actress Amanda Seales, was not featured in any farewell promo. Amanda Seales, 40, was a frequent guest host on the syndicated program before signing on as a regular host in January of 2020. Her stint on the series lasted only a few short months, after the Insecure announced her controversial exit from The Real only 6 months later.

Shortly after the final episode aired, one twitter user asked Amanda directly if she requested to be left out of the program’s ending season. She replied:

“Sure didn’t. But they can absolutely go duck themselves with a chainsaw for doing so”

The TV star doubled down, retweeting several fans who also expressed disappointment over Amanda seemingly being erased from the series. Amanda joined Loni Love, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Adrienne Bailon-Haughton, Jeannie Mai-Jenkins, as a fifth host following singer Tamar Braxton’s exit.

During her brief employment with The Real, Amanda’s was known for her no filter commentary and often “unpopular” opinion. Explaining why she decided to cut ties with the show, Amanda stated:

“My contract is up at The Real and I didn’t renew it, because it doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not, speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to. And where the people that are speaking to me in despairing ways are not being handled.”

Additionally, the activist later the shows producers of stealing concepts from her brand Smart Funny & Black.

Speaking more about not being included in The Real’s final days, Amanda took to her instagram account laughing, and stated:

“So apparently The Real in their finale episode did promo. I am not featured in this thumbnail and I am not featured in the farewell episode apparently. I’ll have some things to say about that,”

She ended with one more diabolical laugh, stating:

“Whew chile, I must be out here shaking the table!”

The Real has not made any public statements regarding the matter at this time.
