Metro Boomin’s Mother Reportedly Passes Away After Being Shot By Boyfriend, Celebs React [Condolences]

According to multiple media reports, music producer Metro Boomin, born Leland Tyler Wayne, is mourning the loss of his mother after she was allegedly killed by her boyfriend yesterday (June 4th). Reports state that Leslie Wayne was shot before the gunman turned the gun and killed himself. Hollywood Unlocked was the first to report Leslie Wayne’s tragic passing.

Several artists, that have likely collabed with the 28-year-old hitmaker, took to social media to share their condolences.







Metro Boomin previously opened up about the close relationship he shares with his mother, often calling her “twin” and his biggest supporter. Earlier last month, the Atlanta native penned a simple and sweet tribute to his “best friend” for Mother’s Day, writing:
“Happy Mother’s Day to my best friend and a true Queen. My real life twin I Love You always and unconditionally”


Metro Boomin has not made any public statements regarding his mother’s passing, nor has a police statement been released thus far.
