Solange – Social Media Users React To Unreleased Music Her Son Julez Shared Online: Sometimes The Talent Gotta Skip A Few Generations

Solange’s son Julez might be going back to the drawing board when it comes to the unreleased music he recently teased.

Daniel “Julez” Smith Jr., son of singer Solange Knowles, shared a snippet of his music for fans to hear on TikTok over the weekend. In a 15-second clip, the 17-year-old appears to be sitting in a studio where he raps along to a recorded track.

“I had to pack that heat/She kept showing all the signs but kept disturbing all my peace/I’m trying to feed the game to n*ggas, but they always think it’s sweet/Just like Future said a while ago, the feds just did a sweep/F*ck the London drip, we gone get our clothes shipped out from Greece.”

The snippet has left some fans unimpressed, and some even confused. After the young artist shared the song online it didn’t take long for his famous family to trend as people chatted about the questionable track.

Music greatness runs in Julez Smith’s family. His mother, Solange Knowles, has had a long, productive career since she dropped her debut album 20 years ago. His aunt, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter was a part of the hit R&B group Destiny Childs, before she broke out and became one of the most successful solo acts of all time.

Beyonce

Beyoncé’s husband (Julez’s uncle-in-law) Jay-Z is regarded as one of the greatest rappers in history. And their daughter Blue IvyJulez’s cousin if you’re keeping up – won a Grammy last year at only 9-years-old.

Blue Ivy

It’s not known if Julez is seriously pursuing a rap career; it could just be a hobby.  In 2020, he spent time in Marcy Projects in Brooklyn to pay homage to his uncle, Jay-Z. Maybe one-on-one sessions with HOV would help with the inspiring rapper’s lyrics and flow.

What do you think about Julez’s bars? Let us know in the comments.
