Tami Roman Says She Would Be Interested In Joining The Cast Of The Real Housewives Of Potomac

It looks like Tami Roman isn’t completely done with reality tv!

Although it’s been few years since she’s been on the hit reality show ‘Basketball Wives,’ it appears Tami Roman hasn’t completely given up on reality television. During a recent interview, the reality tv vet revealed that she would be very interested in joining “The Real Housewives” franchise on Bravo. When asked if she missed being on ‘Basketball Wives,’ Tami Roman, 52, said,

“I do not miss Basketball Wives actually. I think they’re doing fine, I’ve seen on the blogs that the new ladies that are there, I think that’s a great cast. It’s just everybody’s journey is different and I’m not trying to be a basketball wife anymore.”

Many fans can recall Tami Roman’s unexpected departure when she left midway through season 8 of Basketball Wives citing reasons of bad editing. Tami joined the original Miami cast during season 2 as a friend of Shaunie O’Neal and quickly became a fan favorite.

Throughout her time on the show, Tami Roman found herself at odds with several co-stars, oftentimes in both verbal and physical altercations. By season 7, Tami was done with the drama and wanted her storyline to center on her family and acting career. As a result, she quit the show midway through season 8 and did not attend the reunion special.

In her interview, Tami Roman went on to reveal that she would be open to joining ‘The Real Housewives‘ franchise. When asked if she would like to join ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘–since she’s already friends with Marlo Hampton–Tami revealed that she has her eyes set on ‘The Real Housewives Of Potomac.” She explained,

“‘Real Housewives Of Potomac‘ would be the one I’d like… I love the Grande Dame [Karen Huger], I feel like we could team up and let them other ladies have it.”
