Sweetie Pies’ Miss Robbie Continues To Support Son Tim Norman, Currently Jailed For Allegedly Hiring Hit Man To Kill His Nephew
Reality TV star Miss Robbie is remaining ten toes down for her son Tim Norman.
In a recent interview, former Ike and Tina backup singer, Robbie ‘Miss Robbie’ Montgomery addressed her son Tim Norman’s ongoing murder charge. James ‘Timothy’ Norman, 43, was arrested and charged back in 2020 for the murder-for-hire killing of his nephew, Andre Montgomery. Both Tim and Andre appeared on the OWN networks reality series Welcome To Sweetie Pies’ .
During the interview, the Sweetie Pies owner echoed the same sentiments she has since her sons arrest almost two years ago. She stated:
“I’ve had tough times and I’m still having them, but God is good.”
Then continued:
“My son is in trouble right now but I’m his mother and I don’t know no more about it than you cause I hear it when you do, but I’m there for him to support….that’s my son and I can’t abandon him now.”
Andre Montgomery, who was just 21 at the time of his passing, was murdered outside of a St. Louis apartment complex in 2016. Days prior, reports state that his uncle Tim took out multiple life insurance policies on his nephew, totaling over $400,000. Subsequently, police state that the reality star unsuccessfully attempted to cash in the polices only a few days after his nephew’s death, but was denied due to insufficient documentation. Tim was later arrested, with the U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Missouri stating burner phone and cell phone data tied Tim to his nephew’s tragic murder.
Miss Robbie previously spoke about supporting her son despite the bleak situation, stating the relationship is “until death do us part”. She stated:
“We’re just waiting and praying for a miracle…. I mean it’s like a marriage – ‘til death do us part. I can’t give him back. When kids get in trouble, they’re still your kids. No matter what happens,”
Then continued:
“I’m still his mom and he’s got support and I’m praying my child gets out of this because like I say he hasn’t been found guilty but the world beat him up.”
