Reality Star Shaunie O’Neal’s New Husband Shares His Definition Of Marriage
A lot of people have their own idea of marriage, and Pastor Keion Henderson is sharing his definition of what’s supposed to be a long-term commitment.
Keion Henderson, who recently got married to Shaunie O’Neal, the Basketball Wives creator and ex-wife of retired NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, recently sat down with Mind Blowing Magazine to discuss their union and what it means to them.

During the interview, Keion Henderson defined his understanding of marriage, saying,
“If I were to give you the definition of marriage, the collision of two histories. That’s all it is. The collision of two histories, and the magic that happens when two worlds collide.”
He continued,
“Could you imagine what’s in her planet that my planet doesn’t have? And what’s in my planet that her planet doesn’t have? And that the fertile soil is ready to reproduce in the intersectionality of those words to create a super planet.”
Henderson said he hopes his and Shaunie O’Neal‘s union
“expands the church and let other people know you’re safe in here, that there is room for you at the cross and Jesus loves you too. No matter what you did yesterday, no matter where you were yesterday, no matter how you talk.”
He added that he wants people to understand that God is not the depiction of a dictatorial or evil mindset, but instead he’s “so loving and so free and so kind.”
As previously reported, Shaunie and Keion recently tied the knot on the Caribbean island of Anguilla. The 47-year-old announced her engagement to Keion, 40, in November of last year.
Previously, Shaunie opened up about her excitement to marry Keion, saying he “filled a void” in her life and gets along very well with her children. During an interview, the TV personality said,
“[Keion has been] amazing to just step into our lives and fill a void that’s been there for a minute … ’cause I haven’t had somebody…. They love him, which makes me love him even more.”
Shaunie and Shaquille O’Neal were previously married for five years and share five children: Amirah, Me’arah, Myles, Shareef and Shaqir. Keion was also married previously (from 2015-2016) and reportedly shares two daughters with her ex-wife.
