Basketball Wives Star Brittish Williams Asks Judge To Remove Ankle Bracelet After Allegedly Losing $30,000 Deal With Rihanna’s Savage Fenty Line

Reality TV star Brittish Williams is once again placing herself at the mercy of a court judge.

According to Radar, the 32-year-old Basketball Wives castmate recently motioned the court to have her ankle bracelet removed. Brittish Williams is currently on house arrest while awaiting trial for federal wire fraud and identity theft charges. The TV personality is claiming that the monitor is costing her a number of lucrative business deals – most notably a $30k deal with billionaire entrepreneur Rihanna’s brand lingerie line – and is asking a judge to change to conditions of her pre-trial release.

Reportedly, lawyers for Brittish claim in the motion that her ankle monitor is severely hindering her ability to work. Earlier this month, the entertainer asked a court judge to amend her release terms so that she could travel with the BBW cast to Mexico. Not only was she denied that motion, but a judge subsequently ordered Brittish to hand over her passport.

Most recently, her legal team submitted court documents, allegeding that her ankle monitor cost her a $30,000 brand deal with Rihanna’s lingerie line Savage X Fenty. Reportedly, the ankle monitor can’t be seen in photo shoots and prohibits Brittish from showing up to certain appearance obligations.

Lawyers for the media personality reportedly wrote in the legal documents:

“The presence of an ankle monitor creates a significant obstacle that makes it difficult for Ms. Williams to meet her obligations,”

Adding:

“Ms. Williams has also had offers to appear as a model and spokesperson for products by Fashion Nova and Pretty Little Thing Clothing. Again, the offers from these companies were delayed due to the presence of the ankle bracelet. Again, this cost Ms. Williams tens of thousands of dollars in income to which she would have otherwise been eligible,” her lawyer added.”

Lawyers assert that Brittish is not flight risk and has no prior criminal record. A judge has yet to rule on the matter.
