TV Personality Mike Hill Gets Candid About Blended Family W/ Cynthia Bailey + His Regrets Of Not Being There More During First Wife’s Pregnancy
Mike Hill is keeping it real!
During an appearance on the “Dear Fathers” podcast, the TV personality opened up about a variety of topics, including his blended family with wife Cynthia Bailey. Mike Hill has two daughters from previous relationships, Ashlee and Kayla. He is also a stepfather to Cynthia Bailey‘s daughter Noelle, who she shares with actor Leon Robinson.
Regarding his relationship with Noelle Robinson, Mike Hill said,
“It was organic, it was real and that’s what makes it so special. And I love her to death. And I love that she’s got a father who’s also in her life that I respect. I understand she knows who her dad is and I know who her dad is so I’m not trying to override that at all [in] any type of way, but I’m there for her when she needs me. Any time she needs me.”
Hill went on to say that when it comes to “certain things and certain decisions that need to be made” concerning Noelle, he respects what Leon Robinson (and Cynthia Bailey) have to say.

The “Open Mike” author also opened up about the importance of addressing mental health issues, which includes going to therapy when needed. He said,
“If you don’t get that pain, that trauma, that hurt, that depression out of you, [if] you don’t talk about it, it’s never going to get better. And you’ll keep it inside and you don’t even realize it’s having an affect on you and you don’t even realize the effect it’s having on the loved ones in your life.”
As far as his biggest regret, Hill shared that he and his wife were going through a divorce when she was pregnant with his oldest daughter (Kayla), and he wasn’t there the way he would have liked to have been. He said,
“That’s still painful ’til this day. Actually seeing my wife pregnant and I got love for her and I got love for that baby and I’m not there. … That’s something I’ll never be able to get back. That’s the only real regret I have in my life, and it hurts me ’til this day. And it hurts me that I wasn’t there. I wish I could’ve done more.”
