Hunter also talked about how Charlamagne played a major part in the relationship with his future mistress, Sharina Hudson, and the backlash he received on the air from the radio host about the breakdown of his marriage:
“How you went out on me because of a girl, over a girl, that happens to be my baby mama. The mother of my child.”
“Was it cool that you went on the air and made a mockery of the whole thing when you was apart of it, and you knew the family structure that was being instituted. And you know what, regardless of my actions there is a certain code amongst men.
When the interviewer, Choke No Joke followed up and asked if Charlamagne knew about the relationship between him and his current partner, Sharina Hudson, Hunter said:
“He introduced me to her.”

Charlamagne
As previously reported, Charlamagne has never shied away from speaking on Kevin Hunter, even saying that Wendy needed rehab from “her bum a** husband.”
Kevin continued, saying:
“You made a mockery of the situation that really helped you, I can’t f**k with it. But, peace and blessings.”
According to Hunter, he helped bring Charlamagne from Columbia, SC to New York City to be Wendy Williams‘ co-host.
“Come up here, you can jump on [the mic] and we can test it out. I don’t know how long it’s gon’ last. You ain’t got nowhere to stay, you can stay at my spot. And it could last two weeks – it lasted seven years.”

He also revealed that Charlamagne lived in his New Jersey condo for “five years,” and would “look out for him like a little brother.”
Kevin told the interviewer that he also helped Charlamagne get his first contract while he was co-hosting with Wendy Williams in 2006.
“Behind the scenes, it was a fight to get him money because they was just like ‘we don’t wanna pay him,’ I’m like ‘come on, you gotta give this guy something!’ He’s making a difference. I fought for that first 70k.”
He continued saying that once he realized Charlamagne was not involving him in the next phase of his career, he stepped away from their friendship and “never told him why.”
However, he said he is happy for the part he played in helping Charlamagne.
“God handles all things. It’s unfortunate that we wasn’t able to go down this journey, whatever part of the journey that I was essentially part of – I’m happy for and do what you need to do.”
