First Lady Jill Biden Insists That President Joe Biden Is ‘Feeling Fine’ Following His COVID-19 Diagnosis

President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19.

After initially testing negative for the virus on Tuesday, an official statement from The White House announced that President Joe Biden has now been diagnosed with the disease.

Earlier today, President Joe Biden’s team released a letter from his physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor.

In the note, O’Connor wrote:

“This morning, as a part of our routine screening program for the President, the SARS-CoV-2 virus was detected by antigen testing. This result was subsequently confirmed via Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing.”

He continued by assuring that, as of right now, Biden was only experiencing mild symptoms, and his fully-vaccinated state would make him “respond favorably” to the virus.

“On questioning, President Biden is currently experiencing mild symptoms, mostly rhinorrhea, (or “runny nose”) and fatigue, with an occasional dry cough, which started yesterday evening. Given that he meets U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) criteria for PAXLOVID, I have recommended initiating such treatment. The President is fully vaccinated and twice-boosted, so I anticipate that he will respond favorably, as most maximally protected patients do.”

The 46th seat holder later tweeted an update on his health status, stating that he had canceled his on-the-go presidential duties but would still be working from The White House while remaining in isolation.

According to First Lady Jill Biden, she also spoke with her husband via phone and confirmed that he’s doing well and looking forward to getting better.

Despite President Joe Biden’s positive test, Mrs. Biden’s reported that her test came out negative.

We’re hoping for a speedy recovery.
