Kim Kardashian & Kylie Jenner – Head Of Instagram Responds After The Sisters Condemn The Platform For Becoming Too Much Like Tok Tok: Make Instagram Instagram Again
Looks like mega-celebrity sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are not here for Instagram’s latest updates.
Reports state the reality star siblings used their social platforms recently to air out frustrations with the changing photo-based app. Kim Kardashian, 41, and Kylie Jenner, 24, have had huge success in gaining influence in today’s society. Their success is largely due to their hit reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s, as well as their mastery of Instagram. The app has allowed the curvy sisters to grow their fandom significantly with racy photos and lavish living.
According to reports, Kris Jenner’s daughters simultaneously posted messages to their Instagram accounts this past Monday (July 25th), that read:
“Make Instagram Instagram Again”
And:
“Stop trying to be tiktok I just want to see cute photos of my friends”
“I’m hearing a lot of concerns right now [about] photos, and how we’re shifting to video. I want to be clear, we’re going to continue to support photos, it’s apart of our heritage….That said I need to be honest, I do believe that more and more of Instagram is going to become video over time. We see this even if we change nothing.”
?? There’s a lot happening on Instagram right now.
I wanted to address a few things we’re working on to make Instagram a better experience.

“If you look at what people share on Instagram, that’s shifting more and more to videos over time. If you look at what people like and consume and view on Instagram, that’s also shifting more and more to video over time even if we stop changing anything….So we’re going to have to lean into that shift while continuing to support photos.”
