Lamar Odom Says Ex-Wife Khloé Kardashian ‘Could Have Hollered’ At Him For A Second Baby

It looks like Lamar Odom is still trying to shoot his shot at Khloe Kardashian.

According to sources, the former Los Angeles Lakers star recently reacted to the news that his ex-wife is expecting her second child via surrogate with fellow NBA player Tristan Thompson, 31. Lamar Odom, 42, told a reporter that he gladly would have helped Khloe Kardashian, 38, expand her family rather than her choosing her ex who is responsible for multiple public cheating scandals.

It was announced earlier this month that Tristan and Khloe are expecting their second baby together via surrogate. The on-again, off-again couple are already the parents of 4-year-old True. As previously reported, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s surrogate became pregnant in November 2021 just one month before the athlete’s then-secret paternity lawsuit with Maralee Nichols was revealed. Maralee went on to give birth to their son, Theo, on Dec. 1. Maralee and Tristan’s baby was reportedly conceived while the Good American co-owner and the NBA player were in a relationship.

When approached by paparazzi and reporters on Tuesday (July 26), about Khloe Kardashian’s recent reveal, Lamar Odom said,

“She could have hollered at me for that.”

Despite seemingly taking shots at Tristan Thompson, Odom’s behavior during his marriage to Khloe was far from perfect! The former NBA player/reality tv star struggled greatly with substance abuse and infidelity, which played a major part in his marriage ending and the former couple finalizing their divorce in 2016.

This isn’t the first time Lamar Odom hinted at wanting a second chance with Khloe Kardashian. Back in February during an episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Odom said during a candid confessional:

“When I married Khloé, there were so many things that I did wrong when it came to that relationship. If I could take it back, of course, I would take it back.”

He continued,

“It was never my intention to hurt her. But my mind and my head wasn’t in the right place. I wasn’t taking care of myself…I didn’t treat that good woman right. I’m going to try my damndest [to reconnect with her].”

Surprisingly, it looks like Lamar Odom recently had a change of heart. During a recent interview last month, the 42-year-old giant shared that if given the chance, he’d rather get back together with his other famous ex, Taraji P. Henson, 51 instead of Khloe. He reportedly dated the actress in 2009, before he married Khloé.

Lamar explained,

“Because I love Taraji. It’s a love thing. It’s about who you love.”

He continued,

“Taraji is a cool girl. Matter fact she’s here [in L.A.]. I got to see her at the BET Awards in June. So maybe I’ll get to shoot my shot at her again.”

He added,

“I think the difference between Taraji and Khloe is how they was brought up. Their upbringing, which makes people different and [affects] the way they think. I think Taraji is more skillful in what she does as an actress compared to what Khloé does.”
