R. Kelly’s Sisters Refuse To Address Singer’s Victims & Claim Their Brother’s 30 Year Prison Sentence Is ‘Racist’: The Only Victim I’ve Seen Who Has Been Stolen From, Lied On Is Robert
R. Kelly’s sisters claim racism is the reason their brother will spend three decades behind bars.
In a recent interview, R. Kelly’s sisters, Cassandra and Lisa Kelly, said they believe racism played a role in R. Kelly’s sentencing. As you may already know, the “Bump n’ Grind” singer is currently behind bars for the sexual abuse he subjected multiple people to. While speaking on her brother’s legal issues, Cassandra Kelly said:
“African Americans have always been treated unfairly. So I think that, that has a lot to do with it as well as other factors.”
Lisa Kelly claimed that despite what many may believe, her brother has not been with underage girls. She shared:
“I can say he may have been with younger women but as far as underage girls, no. And I stress girls – underage girls, who has seen that?”
Lisa then made it clear she was not acknowledging the victims. She said:
“I’m not gonna acknowledge something that I don’t have the proof of. A lot of the alleged victims are bitter.”
Lisa continued:
“He is not a monster. He is not a pedophile. The only victim I’ve seen who has been stolen from, lied on is Robert.”
When Lisa was asked how she could possibly portray her brother as a victim she replied:
“I just told you, I don’t care about people. I can only go by what I have seen, what I know, what I have experienced.”
As previously reported, on June 29 in a New York courtroom, the “pied piper of R&B” was sentenced to 30 years in prison after being found guilty of all counts of racketeering and sex trafficking.
Judge Ann Donnelly said to the 55-year-old:
“These crimes were calculated and carefully planned and regularly executed for almost 25 years. You taught them that love is enslavement and violence.”
