Update: Drake Says He Tested Negative For COVID & Shares New Date For Recently Postponed ‘Young Money Reunion’ Concert W/ Lil Wayne & Nicki Minaj
Update: Looks like the ‘Young Money Reunion’ concert is back on!
In a newly shared IG post, Drake revealed that he has tested negative for COVID and his highly anticipated concert has been rescheduled for this Saturday (Aug. 6). He said,
“Negative test…positive outcome…this was the only date available until the fall and because the family is so solid everybody is flying back in to make it happen for you all…SEE YOU SATURDAY…young moulaaa”

Original Story: It looks like your Monday night just cleared up if you had plans to see Drake live tonight during the Young Money Reunion show.
In July, Drake, 35, announced plans for his three-day October World Weekend – 3 music events featuring other well-known artists – which kicked off July 28. The Canadian rapper has already hit the stage for the first two scheduled performances and today (Aug. 1) was supposed to mark the third event, the Young Money Reunion show. In addition to Drake, the highly-anticipated concert was set to feature headliners Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, both 39.

However, earlier today (Aug. 1) – hours before the event was scheduled to start – Drake took to his IG stories and announced that the concert has been postponed because he has COVID. In part, he wrote,
“I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for Covid and the Young Money Reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the soonest date possible.”
He continued,
“I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked.”
He added,
“I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the Covid.)”

Following Drake’s announcement, many fans took to Twitter to wish the rapper a speedy recovery and share their disappointment.
