On Sunday (August 7), Grammy award-winning rapper Lil Baby, 27, (born Dominique Armani Jones) hosted his 3rd annual Back to School Fest in Atlanta, Ga, where he provided 3,000 local children with music, games, carnival rides, food, backpacks, school supplies, and haircuts. In footage from the event, the “Drip Too Hard” rapper was welcomed at the West End Mall by a crowd of screaming fans. Once inside, kids were treated to free shoes and clothing from Foot Locker.

According to reports, Lil Baby collaborated with hunger relief company Goodr for his 3rd annual Back to School Fest. Goodr CEO Jasmine Crowe said:

“We are grateful to Lil Baby for his continued resolution in giving back to his community. It is an honor to continually team up with such a household name to relieve some of the ongoing financial burden people are facing.”

The rapper’s Back To School Fest comes just weeks after Lil Baby announced that he is teaming up with prominent business owner Lemont Bradley to give out 100 jobs to people under the age of 21 throughout Atlanta. According to reports, both the rapper and restaurant owner have been friends for several years and have been wanting to collaborate on a project that will impact the local Metro-Atlanta area in a positive way.

Entrepreneur Lemont Bradley–who owns celebrity-famed car wash and eatery, Auto Spa Bistro, along with its more environmentally-friendly counterpart, Eco Car Spa– just opened Clutch Restaurant last month. All of the establishments are looking for new staff.

Lil Baby (born Dominique Armani Jones) and Bradley released a joint statement on their new partnership:
“We are looking to give out 100 jobs to teenagers and young adults in the metro Atlanta area. With the crime rate surrounding scams, robbery, and even murder being so high, we are looking to provide a positive outlet and revenue stream to those who are looking for an income.”
