Singer Rita Ora Secretly Marries New Zealand Filmmaker Taika Waititi
Rita Ora is a married woman now!
The “Let Me Love You” singer has found her forever in New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi, and she’s proven it by secretly marrying him in an intimate ceremony in London—and taking on his last name. That’s right, you may now address her as Mrs. Ora-Waititi.
While the two are happily in love, they opted for a small ceremony in an effort to keep their relationship as private as possible.
According to a source,
“It was a really intimate ceremony and super special for everyone there. Their nearest and dearest can see how madly in love they are.”
The source added,
“A big, showbiz-style bash is planned to celebrate, but don’t expect to see it being flogged to the highest-bidding magazine.”
It looks like the two are still aiming for privacy, as neither of them have officially confirmed the news. Rita Ora did, however, show off what appeared to be a wedding band in an Instagram post on Sunday, August 7. Her caption read,
“Moments I forgot to share from over the weekend and some from Paris I loved and completely forgot to post! Have a good week everyone”

Word of a romance for the Hollywood couple started to spread in April 2021, when Taika Waititi was spotted with his arms wrapped around Rita Ora in an Instagram post. In her caption, Ora said,
“Good times, memories, random things on my phone and the ones I love.”

The couple made their official red carpet debut together until the Los Angeles premiere of Suicide Squad 2 in August, followed by another appearance at the premiere of Marvel’s Eternals in October.
It is Ora‘s first union. Waititi wed New Zealand film producer Chelsea Winstanley in 2011. The pair separated in 2018. They share two daughters: Te Hinek?hu, 10, and Matewa Kiritapu, 6.
Congratulations to Rita Ora and Taika Waititi!
