Saweetie Opens Up About Ex Quavo – Sidesteps Cheating Questions, Reacts To If He Repossessed Her Car & Shares What Attracted Him To Her

Saweetie has seemingly moved on from her previous relationship with Quavo.

Saweetie, born Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, recently appeared on a recent episode of Yung Miami’s ‘Caresha Please’ podcast where she addressed her past relationship with Migos member, Quavo. Yung Miami didn’t waste any time asking Saweetie if Quavo practiced infidelity during their relationship. The 29-year-old responded:

“You know I think the past is just the past and I moved on since then.”

Yung Miami asked:

“Did you think y’all relationship was toxic?”

The “Tap In” rapper shared:

“I think we had a lot of like growing pains together.”

She added:

“I thought we was gon’ spend, you know, the rest of our lives together.”

She elaborated:

“With him, I just knew it was the one. It was different.”

The California native noted that their relationship ended simply because of ‘differences.’ Yung Miami questioned what made Saweetie want to spend the rest of her life with Quavo, born Quavious Keyate Marshall. She admitted:

“I was just hella enthralled with just who he was as a human.”

She added:

“Like even if he wasn’t a rapper, like I woulda still like, been in love with him. It was one of them type of things. Like if he was a lil’ mailbox man and I came across you, like I would’ve still wanted your *ss.”

Saweetie hysterically laughs before she proceeds to address how she felt when Quavo took her car back after their break up. She said:

“Girl, I had to go get me a lil’ Rolls. ‘Cause I was like I really enjoyed my luxurious experience and I was like you know what, I’m just gon’ get one myself.”

As previously reported, back in 2021 a Client Experience representative for the luxury car company, Cassidy von Seggern, took to Instagram to share a photo of her and Saweetie toasting to celebrate her new purchase.  Cassidy von Seggern wrote in a caption:

“She a real bad bish, drive her own RR #icy”

The couple called it quits after being boo’d up for two years. Saweetie confirmed the break up rumors on Twitter. She said:

“I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”

She continued:

“I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation.”
