City Girls’ JT Snatches Phone From A Fan Who Was Recording Her Without Her Permission + Later Defends Herself: She Know What She Did, She Didn’t Expect To Get Caught

City Girls’ member JT isn’t too pleased with a fan who tried to record her while out at a club.

Over the weekend, JT (born Jatavia Shakara Johnson) was out at a club when she got into a situation with a fan. In the video footage obtained by a club goer, the ‘Act Up’ rapper is seen snatching a phone from a fan was recording her. She then proceeded to go through the phone and delete whatever picture or video that was taken of her.

While many agreed with JT and felt that she did nothing wrong, others thought she crossed a line by snatching the fans phone and going through it. Some even questioned if the rapper is able to handle being a celebrity. See reactions below:

On Monday (Sept. 12) JT took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the matter and the backlash she received. She begins by saying media outlets need to also post the positive videos of she and her fans and not just the negative and controversial ones. She wrote:

“POST the videos of me taking ppl phone making videos telling them happy birthday!!!! POST the selfies I took all night with ppl. Please go to hell, she didn’t react with nothing but SORRY because she didn’t expect me to catch her at least I gave her phone back.”
She later blamed the incident on mercury retrograde and offered to buy the fan a new phone case. JT said,
“It’s the retrograde….find that girl page. Ima send her a phone case!”
The ‘Twerkulator’ rapper then says that the fan knew what they were doing and just didn’t expect to get caught. She wrote:
“She know what she did she didn’t expect to get caught, you ever got in trouble & ask this knowing damn well……traion girl”
This isn’t the first time JT has gone head to head with fans and call them out for their harsh criticism. She recently shaded a Twitter user after they shared a negative comment about her upcoming interview with fellow City Girls group member Caresha Brownlee, stage name Yung Miami.

In the tweets JT let it be known she will not take any negative remarks lying down. The online feud started after the “Twerkulator” rapper received a tweet that said,

“JT hair is a mess on [the upcoming] ‘Caresha Please’ episode.”

JT promptly went off on the Twitter user and replied,

“& your fat as f*ck stuck taking selfies & hiding under cover.”

JT

she continued,

“Like imagine talking sh*t about me & you…you!”
