Kenya Moore Says Her Divorce From Marc Daly Is ‘At A Standstill’: Until We Get A Trial Date Or Settle, It’s Still Going To Go On

Kenya Moore is ready to be single again, but her divorce proceedings might keep her from having a real “hot girl fall!”

According to reports, on Sunday’s (Sept. 18) second part of season 14 “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion, Kenya Moore announced that she’s still married to her estranged husband Marc Daly, despite filing for divorce 16 months ago. Kenya Moore shared:

“I’m still not divorced.”

The 51-year-old continued:

“He’s not asking for anything at this point. It’s just at a standstill.”

She added:

“So until we get a trial date or settle, it’s still going to go on.”

The reality star then touched on her dating life and how she’s not letting her pending divorce keep her from finding the one.

“I’m definitely doing some group dating and have people pursuing me, but nothing serious yet.”

Moore elaborated on being in a better space in her life. She said:

“I’m doing better in business than I’ve ever done in my entire life.”

The former Miss USA continued:

“People are flooding me with, ‘Hey, my friend wants to meet you,’ guys reaching out. I just have that energy right now.”

Kenya Moore, Marc Daly, daughter Brooklyn

Moore and Marc Daly, who tied the knot back in 2017, share a three-year-old daughter, Brooklyn. In September of 2019, the ex-couple split for the first time. Their romance somewhat rekindled in February 2020, but Marc Daly confirmed that he separated from Moore last year in January. Moore filed for divorce that May and court documents shared that the reality star has been living in a  “bonafide state of separation” since September 2019, and their marriage was “irretrievably broken.” Moore has expressed being frustrated about the status of her divorce before. In an interview back in May, Moore noted the divorce delay isn’t on her end. She said:

“I feel like it’s been going on for years too.”

Moore continued:

“I want it to be over. The hold-up is on the other side.”

She added:

“Get me free! Get me free!”

As previously reported, Daly accused his estranged wife of holding back important financial records they needed for settlement negotiations. The former couple appeared at a hearing where Moore admitted to not turning in the documents because of “privacy concerns.” By the end of the session, both parties reached a confidentiality agreement. Last year, theJasmineBRAND spoke to Moore in an exclusive interview where she addressed her stance on her relationship with Daly. Moore said:

“So he filed for divorce in New York after he was upset about us trying to serve him for the custodial issues that we have in Georgia. He was just very upset about that and he reacted. Within 24 hours he withdrew that petition. So, he also wanted to make clear that he’s not asking for spousal support.”

Moore continued:

“We’re not together right now, we’re still separated. We have been going through court issues like mediation and things like that and sometimes we hit a brick road and then he’ll react to that I think, where I kind of stay quiet and let people say whatever they want to say. Right now nothing is happening with it, I don’t know what the future holds, but I just hope we can be the most amazing parents to Brooklyn because we have the most incredible little girl that ever lived.”
